Professional Big Mouth & College Speaker: Talking Empowerment & Representations at NYU; Video below. (DIARY)

Here I am with the students at Henry Street High School in NYC.

I love the students at New York University. They are generally open minded, creative, intelligent and open to fun. I’ve spoken at NYU a few different times. In this video I was giving a Black History Month keynote address on the roles we play and representations.

I have given keynote addresses also for Women’s History Month at New York University, Howard University and Washington State University; created and moderated panels at the Museum of the City of New York and New School for Social Research; curated a feminist film festival for VDay and a sexuality exhibit for the Chashama Gallery; mentored girls and women for Hip Hop for Health and Casa Attabex Ache; and presented workshops at the Museum of TV and Radio and University of Northern Colorado. Phew!

If you want me to come speak to your college, university or group on any member of issues from feminism or my satirical hip hop novel Dare to sexuality and overcoming fears contact my college speaking booking agent and find more info on me as a college speaker here.

I cut out my film clips I showed in this video in the interest of time BUT I left in the giddy and hilarious young women who introduced me. They were trying to read my bio off of a very small phone screen. Ay dios mio. Check it out!
