Thanks so much to the lovely Renae Bluitt, who recently included me in a story on her In Her Shoes blog about women and entrepreneurship. The story is named “8 Fly Female Entrepreneurs Share the Gift of Self Love.” As she says in the post, ” Demonstrating self-love begins with self-acceptance and finding fulfillment from within is the first sacred step to TRUE happiness.”

The story includes 7 other illustrious queens: Michaela Angela Davis: Image Activist, Founder of MAD Free, Dorian Grace: Owner, DLUX NJ Boutique, Jamyla Bennu: Co-founder, Oyin Handmade, Marcia Cole: CEO, Ivy Digital, LLC, founder of AMBERmag.com, Felicia Leatherwood, Celebrity Hair Stylist and founder of Loving Your Hair with Natural Care Workshops, Ariana Proehl: Creator and Host, Know This! TV, and Amber Lee Forrester: Founder, Kane and Couture.

Renae asked each of us, “What do you love about yourself?” and then posted an excerpt. This is a question that I use with all of my life and love coaching clients. Here’s how I answered Renae’s question…

[dropcap]I [/dropcap]am a Passionate Living Coach who works with women (and some enlightened men) in the areas of self-esteem around: love, dating, relationships, passionate work and creativity and healthy weight release and body acceptance.

I love most that I am a joyful person (Abiola means joy!) who knows how to turn her life messes into helpful and inspiring messages. (See video below.)

As an entrepreneur, my business is as a personal coach and founder of the award-winning website The Passionista Playbook. We will soon be launching “Abiola’s Love U” at LoveUniversity.us where women can be coached and empowered around Romantic Love, Self Love, Body Love, and Divine Love. My new book, “The Official Bombshell Handbook” and online courses will all have a home here.

Through my life coaching and relationship coaching business, love columns, blogs, vlogs, keynote speeches and TV advice appearances, the lessons that I have learned and empowerment and healing teachings I’ve studied become my fuel to inspire others. I work with coaching clients in person, via Skype, phone, and even email.

beautiful like meBeing a force of passion doesn’t mean that I am happy all the time; far from it. Being a human woman I am sometimes bitchy and intolerable. I have faced crippling depression and insecurity. I have been divorced. I also have to resist my tendency to isolate and be a workaholic. Being a joyful person means that I am able to find healthy ways to bring myself back to center. Last year I found a solution for my weight issues and released 55 pounds. I will share that journey with my students.

The goal is to reach as many people as possible. Under my brand as “America’s Passionate Living Coach,” I give advice on talk shows like the CW’s “Bill Cunningham Show,” via my Simon and Schuster debut novel Dare (just re-released by WalMart), and in magazines like Essence. Passion is energy and enthusiasm. Enthusiasm comes from “en theos” meaning “in God.”

As a dating, relationships and life coach, I have learned that no matter what we’ve experienced, we all deserve love.

Passion and self love are the path to everything we desire. I am a teacher and a student, still learning, still empowering, and still making her messes into messages.

More Passionate Living!
