About the Authorpreneur

Michelle Cuttino is the “Queen of Plus-Size Fiction,” and serves as a freelance writer, talk radio host and motivational speaker. She is the President of Big Body Publishing, the premiere publisher for content written by and geared towards plus-size women. She is the author of Love & Happiness and Me & Mrs. Jones, an eBook series adaptation of her screenplay once optioned with Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Films. She will be part of an erotica anthology under Zane’s Strebor/Simon & Schuster imprint.

Cuttino is a plus-size lifestyle blogger, who also writes about publishing advice and industry events. She is a book reviewer and contributing writer for African Americans on the Move Book Club (AAMBC), and a columnist at Proud Times and Real Life, Real Faith Magazines. Cuttino is the owner and Executive Producer of Big Body Broadcasting, her BlogTalkRadio network that hosts three unique talk radio shows.

With the launching of The Q-Spot with Big Body, Cuttino has continued her dedication to bringing more exposure to the African American book industry. Conducting print and radio interviews with controversial authors and literary greats such as Brenda Jackson, Reshonda Tate Billingsley, Kimberla Lawson Roby, J.L. King, Noire, Ashley & JaQuavis, Treasure Blue, Joey Pinkney, Dawniel Winningham, Dawn Michelle Hardy, Winter Ramos, Tamika Newhouse, Elissa Gabrielle, N’Tyse and Erica Mena, to name a few, she has helped promote a subculture of popular African American fiction that has been underdeveloped for years.

Cuttino was born and raised in Bronx, New York, and spent her formative years between New York and her parents’ hometown of Georgetown, South Carolina. The authorpreneur is single and still resides in the Bronx with her son.
