Sending you love, positive energy, and healing light.
I am feeling revved up by my favorite session, thrilled by the amazing women I am honored to teach, learn from and serve, and just HAPPY.
I am continuing to release excess STUFF — including excess unhealthy weight. One of the ways that I unconsciously seek to make myself safe when I feel afraid is by packing on excess pounds. This Winter my dad was ill and while tending to him, I was not tending to myself.
No matter how evolved we imagine ourselves to be, we are still works in progress along this journey. We all seek safety. We want to know that everything is going to be okay.
Yesterday, I had a POWERFUL one-on-one acceleration coaching session with one of my Become the Guru Bootcampers that I think we could all learn from.
She is a coach, speaker, and healer and I was helping her to build her spiritpreneur business sales funnel.
She, like most of us, hates selling, so I was showing her my sacred business process for seamlessly offering your ideal clients what they need, when they need it. So you are not selling but offering.
She was SO excited to see her business come together so effortlessly but suddenly could not speak. Then she was bawling.
She said, “I’m scared.”
“What are you afraid of?” I asked.
“Everything,” she said.
She was afraid of failing, succeeding, being laughed at, and just plain not being good enough. She was afraid of the “haters.” She was scared to let down those who believed in her.
In our bodies, the source of safety and security is the root chakra area.
In our souls, the source of safety and security is our faith.
In our hearts, we know that the source of security is realizing that the idea of safety is a myth.
There is no true exterior safety.
We are not safe anyway.
Change is the natural order of things.
The world is in flux.
So release yourself from that tyranny.
Your only safety comes from your Faith that All is Well and your Inner Knowing.
Your only safety comes from yourself and your deeper sense of purpose.
Your faith that comes from the world around you will never sustain you because it is temporary.
We are simultaneously completely safe and completely unsafe.
This is the paradox of the ages.
When I reminded my client about this, she started giggling. We are all on this journey together.
Don’t curse the darkness, light a candle…
This meditation that I am sharing with you today is a Root Chakra meditation from the healing empowerment course I have for my Spiritpreneurs coming this summer in collabo with the DailyOm.
- Mantra: “I have the right to exist. I am open to feeling safe and secure.”
- The root chakra represents: security, survival issues like money and food, grounding, stability.
- When this chakra is in balance you feel secure in your skin and grounded in any situation.
- This chakra may be closed or out of balance if: you feel anxious, distrustful, resistant to new ideas and life changes, materialistic, afraid often or unstable.
