Welcome to November!

As I write this I am in a state of extreme gratitude. I finally found the perfect part-time childcare support. My daughter enjoys her and I am able to sit here doing this blessed reading just for you while in the next room. I am preparing energetically for this Sunday’s POWERFUL Manifesting with Goddesses and Ancestors workshop for the College of Psychic Studies.

This is a month in our hemisphere where we begin to spend more time inside, and the goddess energy for this month has the same lesson for us. The reminder is going inward — and loving up on ourselves.

You – and your mystic gifts — require moments of regeneration. As a natural empath, you spend so much time caring for everyone else, which is wonderful, but the energy of this month bends inward.

How can you be more compassionate toward yourself?
How can you be more loving toward yourself?
As we look toward a new year on the horizon, what sacred gifts will you allow yourself to receive?
How will you allow your manifestations to flow in a way you never have previously?
In Zimbabwe, it is forbidden to marry in November for fear that it will bring bad luck. It is a cultural taboo. Even events such as tomb rituals are restricted in this “month of the goat.”

The Shona belief is that the spirit realm and the ancestors are resting in November, or actually the lunar month beginning in October. The ancestors are unable to bless anything happening in November.

Thus the spirits and mediums are resting this month.

Whether you believe this or not, there is a reason so many cultures have ancestral events and veneration around this time.

Go inward, you magical goddess you.

Allow yourself to rest and for your energy to be built back up.

Let’s love up on ourselves so we can be ready to receive all of our bountiful harvest.
