You don’t ever really fail. When we learn from our failures, we fail forward. Any entrepreneur, coach, healer, or creative, who says they never failed is not being truthful…

I wanted to start the conversation off with the energy of beautiful women who are winning at the journey of stepping into your power! In the photo I am at the Goddess of Paris: Miracles and Manifesting Retreat with two of my clients, Goddess Shirley and Goddess Joy.

So, you want to be a Spiritpreneur –  life coach, healer or creative entrepreneur!

YES — that’s a great goal to have and many people have amazing success at being a life coach, business coach, creative or healer.

But for everyone who is able to find alignment, build a following and THRIVE from their business, there are 15 who don’t make it.

This isn’t to make you think about quitting, but to let you know what you need to know. Learn from the pitfalls of others — but know that you have your own sacred path.

coaching for coaches course - why life coaches fail in business

Here are the top four reasons why life coaches, healers and creative entrepreneurs fail:

Lack of Consistency:

Persist, persist, persist. If you continue working at your Spiritpreneur business, you are going to make it. Just like any other business, you’re going to have to build up a clientele and get it to the point where you are actually making a living from your coaching practice.

BUT CONSISTENCY — is everything. Shiny new thing syndrome and wasting time trying to piece everything together from freebies can only take you so far. Invest in yourself and invest in your business — invest time, invest energy, invest money, invest belief.

Lacking Confidence:

This is one of the main reason that Spiritpreneurs fail. YOU ARE AMAZING — and I believe in you even if you don’t yet. This is why I created the Spiritpreneur Visibility Lab.

If you don’t believe in yourself, your clients will never believe in you either. Even if you never tell your clients that you don’t believe in your ability to coach them to success, they are going to know, because people can just sense that sort of thing. You got this — even when you think you don’t. Work on yourself first before you start coaching and give yourself positive affirmations every day.

Copying Others:

This is one of my major pet peeves. As you start to become more known in your space, people will copy every aspect of your business and your brand. I know of one person who copies every single thing I do — and I am not alone in this. Some people learn one style of coaching, which is a method that they got from a mentor or a training program and they just coach the exact same way; but that’s not how leaders work. Followers copy other people but leaders forge their own way and take what others have taught them and develop their own style.

Being too Formulaic:

If you use the same method for every single client, you are going to have very limited success. You will fail your clients by not tuning into their specific issues. That’s because people are all different. One size does not fit all when it comes to healing or coaching, and you need to be flexible enough to try other methods when you see what one particular one isn’t working.
