Herstory:

A Sopera de Ochun is the tureen or bowl that houses the sacred stones (otanes) and tools of Ochun (Oshun) in the Santería/Lukumi tradition. The sopera is a home for the orisha’s essence and a tool for ceremonies and rituals. Ochun’s ornate sopera is yellow or gold and decorated with shells, mirrors, and suns.
