Why I Wrote This Book

My path to understanding and writing about the universal laws began in my childhood, when Idiscovered a mysterious book on my father's basement bookshelf – an old, esoteric text called "TheKybalion." He had many weird old spiritual books, so this wasn’t strange at all. Though I didn't read it, Iwas intrigued by the name of its authors, the Three Initiates, and the secrets it seemed to hold.

My curiosity took a significant turn when I watched Rhonda Byrne's groundbreaking film, "The Secret." Itintroduced me to the Law of Attraction, but I felt like the Law of Attraction was just one piece of a largerpuzzle. Oprah Winfrey confirmed on her show that this was just one spiritual law of many, inspiring meto trace these teachings back to their source. This led me to the Hermetic laws, a set of ancientprinciples that promised to unlock the mysteries of the universe.

Years later, as I explored various spiritual and philosophical teachings, I found myself encountering theuniversal laws time and time again. When I researching my book African Goddess Initiation, I discoveredthese principles popping up throughout the wisdom of African cultures across the African diaspora.

Ancestors, spirit guides, oracles all play by the rules of universal laws.

Then in my most recent book, From Imagination to Reality, I explored the Law of Assumption throughthe teachings of Abdullah, an Ethiopian rabbi, teacher of Christianity, and mystic, and the author NevilleGoddard. Writing that book brought powerful questions from my readers and students: ‘What is thefoundation behind all these laws?’ and ‘How do we fully embody them to manifest faster and live thelives we desire?’

These questions are what led me to write The Divine Frequency. This book answers those questions andshows that manifesting is a way of living. When you are embodying these laws fully, you move beyondusing them as tools and step into living as a creator, as the Divine Frequency itself—the energy ofcreation and what is also known as Christ Consciousness.

This has been life-changing for me. It has helped me to release limiting beliefs and fears, to trust in theabundance, and to approach challenges with more power than I ever thought possible. By applying theselaws in my own life, I have experienced shifts in my relationships, purpose, abundance, and overall well-being. I have learned to harness the power of my thoughts and emotions, to take inspired action towardsmy dreams, and to have a deep sense of gratitude for all that I lived.

Most importantly, understanding these laws has shown me the ties between all things. We are all part ofa greater whole, and by working together and supporting each other, we can create a world of incrediblebeauty, harmony, and riches.

As I lead courses and retreats and get to work with lightworkers, wayshowers, and empaths in my sacredcircles, I realized that this book is exactly what is needed at this moment. The universal laws provide apowerful foundation for personal transformation and spiritual growth. These laws can help you alignwith your purpose and manifest your dreams.

Why 23 Laws?

As you play with the 23 universal laws in this book, you might wonder about the significance of thenumber 23 itself. This number has been the subject of fascination and mystery, often referred to as the'23 enigma.'

Divine guidance chose which universal laws would be in this book. I started with the 7 Hermetic laws ofthe Kybalion, expanded out to the most widely discussed 12 universal laws and then found the threadsof truth in the spiritual and scientific philosophies throughout indigenous cultures and wisdom from thecontinents of Africa and Asia and many other cultures.

Here are a few intriguing facts about 23. The Earth's axis is tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees, and this plays a crucial role in our planet's seasons and climate. The human biorhythm cycle is believed to consistof 23-day physical, 28-day emotional, and 33-day intellectual cycles. The Earth's sidereal rotation period,or the time it takes for the Earth to complete one rotation relative to the fixed stars, is approximately 23hours, 56 minutes, and 4 seconds. The number 23 is a prime number, and the sum of the first four prime
numbers (2 + 3 + 5 + 7) equals 17, and 1+7 = 8, which is the number of spokes on the Dharmachakra(Wheel of Dharma) in Buddhism, representing the Eightfold Path to enlightenment.

The often memorized 23rd Psalm can be seen as a spiritual companion to the 23 enigma – a reminderthat even in the middle of life's mysteries and challenges, we are never alone. We are always guided andsupported by a loving presence that seeks to lead us to green pastures and still waters.

Some may say these are just coincidences. Others will say that these facts demonstrate the connectionbetween the number 23 and the fundamental workings of our planet. While the number of laws in thisbook was not intentionally chosen to align with the 23 enigma, it serves as a serendipitous reminder thatit’s all connected. There are hidden patterns in our universe.
