Hey Rockstars!
Yesterday I interviewed the fabulous Jessica Holter, founder of the Punany Poets at the Renaissance Fine Art Gallery at 2075 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard in Harlem, NYC. To match the spoken word poetry vibe of the Jessica’s sexy activism, I chose to wear a street fashion inspired look: 1980’s-style doorknocker gold earrings, a grafitti torn t-shirt and pink flouncy mini.
Artist Christopher Trujillo, half of the Mr. & Mr. artistic team, was in the gallery to share his work with Kiss and Tell TV and to style me for the Jessica Holter interview in their haute couture fashion and accessories. The Mr. & Mr. wearable art, with fashion designed by Michael Jerome, incorporates recycled materials into the stylish mix. Bravo! As my Abiola Rockstars know I am a huge supporter of eco-friendly green fashion.
We had so much fun– and it was the perfect fashion collaboration as I am called the “Goddess Lifestyle Passionista” and Mr. and Mr. are branded as “Lifestyle Artists.”
Christopher Trujillo accessorized me with a gorgeous leather flower made from Kate Spade leather, button beaded cleavage covering necklace, and origami jacket designed by his partner, Michael Jerome. Wearable Art Video Episode to follow, but for now, enjoy the fashion diary photo story.
Here I am on camera with the artist wearing the origami jacket by Michael Jerome. It felt like wearing a kimono. The boning seems designed to make you stand taller.
