This post is a part of my 12 Days of Blissness Business Vision Board Challenge (Day 4), but is relevant for any individual or business who wants to create a manifesto.

So, what is a MANIFESTO?
Basically, a MISSION STATEMENT on STEROIDS.
A manifesto declares what your soul-based business stands for and what your business stands against. This is part of turning your mission into a movement.
How to WRITE YOUR MANIFESTO for Your Mission:
- Choose a POWER WORD that will be your MANTRA for your life, your business or the next year.
- Turn that word into a MANIFESTO by adding other words, thoughts and ideas that are related.
- What do you STAND FOR and BELIEVE IN?
- What do you STAND AGAINST?
- Add those thoughts to your power statement as a rallying cry for those who join your movement.
My Spiritual Business ManifestA — yes Manifesta — started like this:
But evolved into this:
Other Manifesto Examples
Famous historical verbal manifestos include:
- The 10 Commandments
- Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech
- The Declaration of Independence
- President Barack Obama’s “Yes We Can” speech
- Steve Jobs’ “Here’s to the Crazy Ones”
In our beautiful century, we also use graphics to visually communicate the mission in our manifest. If you are a graphic artist or have skills, create it yourself. I hired someone because I am not a graphic artist. I personally add my gorgeous manifesta to my vision board to remind me of the vision that I have for my life and spiritual business. You can also frame it or give it out physically to employees or clients.
Some inspirational contemporary manifestos include the Lululemon and Holstee manifesto:
What’s your mission and manifesto for your life and business?
So your assignment for today, your mission should you choose to accept it, is to write basically a mission statement. That’s what a manifesto is. It’s a mission statement. And so you should have a guiding mission statement for your life or your family and most certainly for your business. This is really important when you’re working with a team to let the team know, hey, here is what we stand for and here’s who we are as a business.
The manifesto that I wrote is for my business for 2018 and then I’m going to get back to the rest of my family. And my challenge for you is to write your manifesta or manifesto for yourself, your mission.
Okay, so here is mine, manifesting goddess rising spiritually, Spiritpreneur, sacred bombshell, feminine power. “I found God in myself and I loved her fiercely.” That’s a quote from into Ntozake Shange. I didn’t write that part. This is our time to rise and to shine. Here is your crown. You hear that whisper. That is the sound of women rising. That is the sound of goddess rising. Some of us have been playing small for so long that we believe that were small, that we believe that we are insignificant, but that’s shrunk and self is not you. You are, I am.
We are power fearfully and wonderfully made, fearfully and wonderfully made. This is the movement of goddess rising. So do you have the courage to heed your own call? What does it mean that you are created in the image and the likeness of that which birthed the sun and the roses?
Goddess rising is an energy that can no longer be contained. Women are awakening to our true sacred feminine power and it has been a long time coming and so we step up. We stopped playing small, we step into our greatness, we step into our power. This is goddess rising, so that is my manifest up for the coming year. I’m going to add it to my vision board.
